Space Bar Clicker: a whole economy behind one key
Space Bar Clicker starts with almost nothing on screen: a counter, a big key and an invitation to press it. Each press of the real space bar, or each click or tap on the drawn one, adds one Spacebar to the counter. Spacebars are the only currency in the game, and everything you do from then on is about turning them into more Spacebars per second.
The first thing to buy is a Sleepy Ant for 25 Spacebars. It falls asleep on your keyboard and bumps the key every couple of seconds, and that is the start of the Helpers list: forty of them, each pricier and stronger than the last, from a Boomer Mom who calls it 'the big button' to a Caffeinated Rat on a wheel, an AI Overlord, a Neutron Star Fragment and finally the Wormhole Opener. Every copy of a helper you buy makes the next one more expensive, so the trick is knowing when to move up the list.
Your own presses never stop mattering. The Keyboard tab doubles what each press is worth every time you upgrade it, then unlocks critical hits and a Combo mode that multiplies every press for a few seconds when you fill the gauge. Buy the last helper and the game warns you that the wormhole will destroy the universe. Say yes and you start again in Universe 2, with an artifact of your choice to make the second run faster.

Getting more Spacebars per second
- Buy the first keyboard upgrade early: It costs 1,000 Spacebars and doubles every press. While helpers are still slow, your own presses are most of your income.
- Climb the helper list: Each copy of a helper is more expensive than the last. When ten more Sleepy Ants cost as much as one Munchy Koala, the koala is the better deal.
- Save the Combo for when you can press fast: The gauge fills from presses, and the multiplier applies to presses. Trigger it with both hands on the keyboard, not while you are shopping.
- Crit chance before crit multiplier: A crit multiplier does nothing if crits never happen. Raise the chance a few levels, then the multiplier.
- Watch the Dashboard: Helper Contribution shows which helpers actually pay. Put your next purchase where the income is.
- Do not rush the wormhole: The last helper wipes everything. Open it when progress has slowed down, and pick the artifact that fixes what slowed you.
